IPC And IOPC Jan/Feb 2023 Dates Are Out! 

Poker players rejoice! Spartan Poker has finally announced the dates for the upcoming 2023 editions of two of its biggest poker series—India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) and India Poker Championship (IPC). 

Spartan Poker will kick-start the new year with IOPC January 2023 between 19th January to 5th February 2023. The online fest will be followed by a live poker fest with IPC February 2023, which will run from 14th to 20th February. The two series will have a combined guarantee of ₹50 Crore. 

For this edition, IPC will return to its original abode, Big Daddy casino in Goa. The last edition of IPC (Megastacks) was held in May 2022 at Hotel Mechi Crown in Jhapa, Nepal. The last edition of IOPC (June 2022) and IPC (May 2022) had a combined guarantee of ₹36.5 Lakh, which is now bumped up to a massive ₹50 Crore. 

About IOPC:

IOPC is one of India’s top and highly anticipated online poker series hosted by Spartan Poker. The series keeps getting bigger and better with every edition. Introduced as a virtual version of the IPC, the first-ever edition of IOPC was held in July 2016. The massive success of the first edition led to the brand hosting two editions every year from 2017 onwards. Ever since, the series returns twice a year with unbelievable guarantees for the series including the leaderboard. The upcoming January 2023 edition of IOPC will be the 14th edition of the grand series. 

About IPC: 

IPC was inaugurated in the year 2010. Since then it has continued to be one of India’s biggest and most awaited live poker events in the country. Goa’s Big Daddy casino has always been IPC’s home. In 2013, for the first time ever, IPC held its international edition in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The event was previously held multiple times in a year. After the COVID-19 lull, IPC returned with a bang in 2022 in the Megastacks format. The winner of the Main Event becomes the India Poker Champion of that year. Celebrities, pros and other known faces have always graced the IPC events and it will only grow bigger and bolder with time.
