IOPC June 2023 Day 1: Vishal Ojha Took Home The Biggest Pay Cheque

The much-awaited India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2023 has finally kick-started on the virtual felts of Spartan Poker. Pros like Abhishek Agarwal, Vishal Ojha, Manish Lakhotia, among others nailed titles on Day 1.

IOPC #2 – ₹12 Lakh GTD

The event had a total of 480 entries battling it out. Out of these, the top 71 places were paid a min-cash of ₹4,560.

Abhishek Agarwal aka ‘GeGambler’ topped the table and cashed ₹2,31,600. Parag Shah aka ‘Persie’ finished second for ₹1,45,920.

IOPC #4 Turbo – ₹12 Lakh GTD

This event saw a total of 299 entries generating a prize pool of ₹12,47,500. The top 39 places made it in the money drawing a min-cash of ₹8,607.

Venkatesh Mukundan aka ‘Balthazar’ shipped the event for ₹2,50,123, while Bharat Vasan ‘MirchiSeth’ was the runner-up for ₹1,66,291.

IOPC #5 Thursday Prime – ₹45 Lakh GTD

Thursday Prime saw 583 entries fighting for the top spot. The top 87 players took home a min-cash of ₹13,950.

Vishal Ojha aka ‘Darky012’ nailed the top spot and took home a handsome ₹8,61,750. Neeraj Sattawat aka ‘NeeruNJ’ finished second for ₹5,36,400.

IOPC Thursday High – ₹40 Lakh GTD

Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ topped the table for ₹8,27,206. Karan Malhotra aka ‘Engineerlonda’ was the runner-up for ₹7,32,793.

• Total entries: 156 (106 entries, 50 re-entries and 43 rebuys)
• Buy-in: ₹22,000
• Places paid: 23
• Min-cash: ₹46,400

IOPC #7 Thursday Spotlight – ₹22 Lakh GTD

A total of 515 entries contributed to the final prize pool of ₹22,17,000. The top 71 places made it in the money for min-cash for ₹8,424.

‘DesiShark’ shipped the event for ₹3,53,532. ‘Maahirat’ was the runner-up for ₹3,43,935.

IOPC #8 All Rounder Deepstack – ₹11 Lakh GTD

Out of the 492 entries at this event, the top 71 players made it in the money and cashed a min-cash of ₹4,180.

Mystery player ‘Rahul4444s’ topped the table with ₹2,12,300. ‘Hutu001’ finished second for ₹1,33,760.
