IOPC Day 6: Kunal Sharma, Pulkit Goyal Seize Titles!


Another fun-filled day on the industry leading online poker platform Spartan Poker. Players are entering in huge numbers, recording guarantee smashing events! Yes, we are talking about India’s biggest online poker attraction, the IOPC July 2020. We are here to cover another day of the superb ongoing series and below is the list of winners. So, keep reading to find out more about IOPC Day 6.

IOPC #35 INR 4 Lakhs GTD

Lighting the virtual felts on fire, the first tournament of IOPC Day 6 commenced at 12 pm yesterday. The tourney offered INR 4 Lakhs GTD with INR 550 as buy-in. Logging in 868 entries, the event collected a prize pool of INR 4.34 Lakhs. It was ‘TheAceCrown’ who got the best of the deal and Sagar Raj aka ‘Pocket_king_K’ ended up in the second place.

IOPC #36 INR 6 Lakhs GTD

The 36th event ran with INR 6 Lakhs GTD last afternoon. The tourney clocked in 523 runners, striding past comfortably the advertised guarantee with a prize pool collection of INR 7.84 Lakhs. The heads-up for the prestigious title came down to a battle between ‘uthapatak1’ and ‘kowikyvvfa’. The former ultimately prevailed to claim the first prize and the latter finished in runner-up position.

IOPC #37 Monster Stack INR 5 Lakhs GTD

In the third tournament, the buy-in as well as the guarantee slightly decreased. The INR 5 Lakhs GTD event accumulated INR 6.74 Lakhs worth prize pool after pulling in 843 entries. Battling his way to come out on top was ‘1-855-925-7070’ who got the best of the three-way deal. Eventually, ‘jungleman27’ finished second place and ‘ronav’ in the third place.

IOPC #38 INR 3 Lakhs GTD

Capturing his second IOPC title, Kunal Sharma won the top prize in 38th IOPC July 2020 event. The tourney recorded 440 entries, easily creating INR 4.40 Lakhs in prize pool. In the end, Sharma rivered the top pair KK and defeated his opponent ‘kakerwal’ in heads-up. On IOPC Day 5, the champion outlasted a field of 450+ entries in IOPC Event #29 INR 6L GTD.

IOPC #39 Mega Stack INR 35 Lakhs GTD

Boasting INR 35 Lakhs prize pool guarantee, the INR 3,300 buy-in Mega Stack brought together a gigantic field of 1,320 entries. Benefiting the most from INR 39.60 Lakhs prize pool was ‘Jhumroo’ who won the top prize for the victory after defeating Devang Yadav aka ‘equity_hunter’ in heads-up. Money reached the top 127 players who sealed at least INR 8K in min-cash.

IOPC #40 INR 12 Lakhs GTD

Seizing back-to-back titles was ‘bluffer’ who raced past a 1,028 strong field to take down 40th IOPC event. Along with the title, the champion captured the lion’s share of INR 15.42 Lakhs prize pool. It all ended with a three-way deal and ‘ephemeral’ earned the second-place payout while ‘violator’ finished in the third place.

IOPC #41 Destiny IOPC Edition INR 10 Lakhs GTD

The final tournament of IOPC Day 6 on Spartan Poker was the special edition Destiny promising INR 10 Lakhs GTD. Well-known circuit grinder Pulkit Goyal aka ‘Championplayer’ railed out ‘UnluckyLoser’ in heads-up battle and emerged victorious. The INR 2,200 buy-in event fetched a field of 693 entries, accumulating INR 13.86 Lakhs in prize pool. Top 50 spots finished ITM securing a minimum of INR 6,930 each.
