India’s Acer Predator Gaming League 2020 Starts Tomorrow!


The world of esports is in an excited frenzy as Acer, the market leader in PC gaming in India, is set to launch the Predator Gaming League (PGL) 2020 from 3 December. The flagship gaming event has always attracted thousands of gamers along with a huge audience and this time is no different. Gamers will be playing for hundreds of hours throughout the month-long festival. With an aim to make the event even more thrilling Acer has added more than one game to the league.

Along with the beloved PUBG, the Predator Gaming League 2020 will also be including Valorant in the mix. Valorant has taken the Indian esports community by storm and has established itself as one of the top multiplayer esports games in a short amount of time. The inclusion of Valorant into PGL will open up the stage for more players to display their gaming skills through this particular avenue.

Along with Predator Gaming League being the pioneer in developing the gaming community, the esports scene in India has also seen an influx of gaming companies setting up shop in the country with Noble Esports recently launching their first bootcamp in India.

The growing community of women gamers have also encouraged Acer to dedicate a special event only for women gamers in the current PGL edition. As a leading PC gaming brand, Acer has taken the responsibility to develop and nurture this rapidly growing community. Predator Gaming League is much more than a tournament as its also a way to encourage development in the gaming community as a whole.

There will be three phases of the Predator Gaming League 2020 India which will run till the end of the year. The tournament will be held entirely online with hundreds and thousands of teams and players participating through qualifiers right up to the grand finale across the two popular esports games. The total prize pool for the tournament is INR 4 Lakh which will be divided between the three event. The winner of Valorant Event will be getting a huge prize money of INR 75,000, while the winners of the PUBG and Valorant Women event will be taking home INR 60,000 and INR 50,000 respectively.

Starting from the 3rd of December, the PGL will run throughout the month culminating in the grand finale to determine the champions of India in this prestigious tournament. Fans of the tournament will be able to catch the action on Acer’s social media handles including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
