High-value online poker tournaments drew in large crowds of participants to online poker platforms like Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, PokerStars, and Adda52. The night ended with some poker players taking home the top titles. Let’s take a look at what went down.
The Mega Stack on Spartan Poker had a ₹20 Lakh guarantee and welcomed a 239 unique players, 101 re-entries, and 187 re-buys. The final prize pool crushed the advertised guarantee and was recorded as ₹21,08,000. The buy-in of the event was ₹4,400 and the top 47 places were paid. The min-cash was ₹12,015. The winner of the event was Sandeep Tulsyan aka ‘sandeeptulsyan’ and he had a payday of ₹4,10,849. The runner-up was player ‘oreo123’ who walked away with ₹2,60,970.
Spartan Poker also hosted the Tuesday High Roller which had a guarantee of ₹15 Lakh. The event welcomed a 106 unique players, 37 re-entries, and 79 re-buys. In total, there were 222 total entries. The initial guarantee was crushed and the final prize pool was recorded as ₹22,20,000. The ₹11,000 buy-in event ended with the top 20 players making the money. The min-cash given was ₹29,748. Harshad Barve aka ‘Epic Whale’ grabbed the title and took home ₹4,62,170 in prize money. The runner-up was ‘thereisnospoon’ who went away with ₹4,32,489.
The Endeavour on PokerBaazi had a buy-in of ₹3,850 and a ₹12 Lakh guarantee. The event welcomed a total of 455 entries, out of which 245 were unique players and 210 were re-entries. The original guarantee was also crushed and the final prize pool of ₹15,93,000 was generated. The tournament ended with the top 54 players finishing in the money. The min-cash was ₹7,330. The tournament was shipped by Gaurav Bhandari aka ‘Zillastar’ who went home with ₹3,20,000 in winnings. The runner-up was player ‘KarmaPoker’ who took home ₹2,24,000 in prize money.
The Bounty Builder on PokerStars had a ₹10 Lakh guarantee and a buy-in of ₹7,700. There were 131 total entries from which 72 were unique players and 59 were re-entries. The top 15 places were paid and the min-cash given was ₹10,137. Amit J aka ‘the_ziro’ clinched the title and earned ₹1,25,940 in bounty money and ₹1,01,583 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up was ‘you3beti4bet’ who took home ₹64,695 in bounty money and ₹1,10,583 from the regular prize pool.
The Mint on Adda52 had a guarantee worth ₹14 Lakh. The final prize pool worth ₹14,17,501 surpassed the advertised guarantee. The buy-in of the event was ₹3,850 and a total of 405 entries participated in the event. Out of this 206 were unique players and 199 were re-entries. The top 43 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹7,796. Player ‘Awanaba’ shipped the event and took home ₹3,51,540 in prize money. The runner-up was Gokul Raja aka ‘Niruha’ who walked away with ₹2,12,625 in prize money.
