‘guru01’ wins the Quickie The Elite for INR 581,250

The Flash (RE), one of the featured tournaments of The Spartan Poker featured a guarantee of INR 15 Lakhs with a buy-in of INR 4,400. This tournament drew 306 entries and the eventual winner was ‘Upay4me’ who outlasted ‘Bounceez’ in heads-up battle. ‘Upay4me’ collected INR 317,250 for first-place while ‘Bounceez’ took home INR 213,600 for the runner-up finish.

In Level #43 with blinds running 80,000-160,000-16,000, ‘Bounceez’ had Ac 8s and ‘Upay4me’ had 7d 9d. Raises went back and forth between the two players all the way to the river and on a board of 7s 7c Ah Jd Jh, a full house Sevens full of Jacks to ‘Upay4me’ giving him the title.

The second-high value tournament was the Quickie HighRoller tournament guaranteeing INR 25,00,000 with a buy-in of INR 11,000. The winner of the tournament was ‘guru01’ who claimed this title for INR 581,250. ‘guru01’ defeated ‘Sidddhu’ in the heads-up battle annd the latter had to be content with his payday of INR 393,750.

In heads-up, ‘guru01’ and ‘Sidddhu’ had 3c Ad and 9h 9d respectively. Both heads-up players went all-in pre-flop and the board ran 2h 5s 4c Kh 7d which gave a straight, Ace to Five to ‘guru01’ and also the first place prize.

After Day 3 of the Quickie Series, ‘Drunkenf1st’ continues to remain on top position on the leaderboard. It’s the final chance for players, today being the last day of the series, to accumulate as many leaderboard points for the top 6 payout positions on the leaderboard. As we conclude Day 4 of Quickie Series today, there is still plenty of tournament action for players next week as TheSpartanPoker will host its value-filled Little Big Series (LBS) with over INR 22 Lakhs in guaranteed prizepools. The four-day series will have 18 tournaments along with some high value tournaments including Mini Biggie, Warm-Up and the show stopper Main Event which is scheduled on the final day.
