Guild Esports Launches ‘Guild Esports Academy’

Guild Esports, a British esports organization has launched the ‘Guild Esports Academy,’ an online training course for players. Through this course, the organization wants the next generation of players to learn from the players who are already with them. Further, the Guild hopes to create esports stars of tomorrow.

The online academy is looking for players aged 11 and up to take part in online courses and tournaments. The brand backed by David Beckham will be welcoming players of all skill levels, from beginner to pro player. As per the Guild’s website, players will also gain access to online challenges to complete the game. The academy is now starting with Fortnite and Rocket League, but the brand plans to expand into FIFA and Valorant in the coming months.

Talking about the launch of the online training course and organization, Carleton Curtis, Executive Chairman of Guild Esports said, “Over the last one year, people have started to recognize us for some of the most talented rosters in esports. Guild Esports academy will be one of the most comprehensive training platforms in esports and will provide support to individual players too. All in all, we are thrilled to launch and help the industry to push this forward.”

However, feedback is not the only thing that Guild will be offering to the players who wish to join the academy, as the brand will have detailed training programs and online tournaments as well. The academy will also scout for talent to become a part of the Guild family as the players who get scouted will gain better one-to-one support, exposure to LAN tournaments and boot camps held by Guild.

Along with the tournaments and courses, Guild Esports Academy will also have a dedicated section for parents. Guild Esports has also teamed up with Subway to help kids to promote healthy living. As of now, the academy is allowing players to join for free and the trial period is set for 30 days.
