Goonjan Mall Bagged A Big Payday On Friday Night


Friday Night saw a lot of poker players emerge victorious and flex their muscles at the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) in June 2023. We saw high energy on the virtual felts with some poker pros claiming top titles to bask in glory. Let’s look at how the poker action unfolded on Friday night at the IOPC June 2023.

IOPC  #122 Friday Prime (60 Lakh GTD)

Goonjan Mall, aka ‘PresentSIR’, emerged victorious in this tourney and bagged a payday of ₹14,08,900. The second-place finisher was an Hulash Ray aka ‘hutu001’ who added a sum of ₹8,87,680 to finish in the runner-up position. This ₹11,000 buy-in event had a total of 730 entries which generated a prize pool of ₹73,00,000. The top 71 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹27,740.

IOPC  #123 Friday High (40 Lakh GTD – 6 Max)

Vishal Ojha aka ‘Darky012’ managed to nail the top spot for a pay cheque of ₹11,74,125. A mystery player with the username ‘Pradzzz’ came as the second runner-up and walked away with ₹7,95,375. This tourney had a prize pool of ₹50,50,000 and 202 entries, with the ₹27,500 buy-in event seeing 23 players make ITM, with the min-cash sitting at ₹58,580.

IOPC  #124 Friday Spotlight – Triple Chance (20 Lakh GTD)

Ashwin Vijay  aka ‘A116’ won this tournament and added a sum of ₹3,06,295 to his bankroll, while Ishaan Pandya aka ‘ip007’ was the second place finisher having a payday of ₹2,59,704. The total entries stood at 2,202, while the min-cash paid was ₹2,900, with 183 players cashing out in this event.

IOPC  #125 All Rounder (11 Lakh GTD)

This event recorded a prize pool of ₹22,26,000, where Ashit Sharma aka ‘D. Carwin1’ emerged victorious and pocketed ₹2,12,740 while Samay Singh Modi aka ‘Limitless’ walked away with ₹1,34,200. There were 707 entries, with 63 players walking away with rewards, while the min-cash stood at ₹4,785 in the ₹1,650 buy-in event.
