Giuseppe Iadisernia ships CPP $50k Super High Roller

partypoker LIVE is one of the most popular global tours when it comes to playing live poker across the world. One of their most popular stops is the Caribbean Poker Party (CPP), and why not? After all, it’s played in The Bahamas. Currently, the 2018 CPP series is on in full swing, with a couple of winners declared already.

One of the winners was USA’s Roger Teska, who won the $25k MILLIONS World Event. Another major tournament to conclude recently was the $50,000 Super High Roller, which was a single day event that attracted a total field of 54 entries and wrapped up on the day of 12th November itself.

Only 7 players were paid out in this tournament and once again, a wide variety was seen in the participating nations. A total prize pool of over $2.6 million was created a huge chunk of this prize pool went to Venezuela’s Giuseppe Iadisernia, who won a career-best $845,000 (~INR 6.11 crore) for shipping the tournament.

Prior to this, Iadisernia didn’t have much of a poker CV to brag about, with just about two live cashes and a total of around $220k in live winnings to his name. Here however, he did brilliantly to cash such a big amount, beating the experienced USA poker pro Sean Winter in heads-up, who has over $8 million in live poker winnings.

Another top pro to finish high in the money places was Israel’s Ali Imsirovic, who finished in 3rd place for a very handsome prize of $400k. If you remember well, this guy recently had a brilliant outing at the 2018 Poker Masters in Las Vegas, where he won 2 consecutive titles and also ended up winning the prestigious Purple Jacket for securing the most championship points.
