Intel Introduces 11th-Gen Core-H Gaming Laptop Chips

Intel has understood the need and demand for quality gaming laptops. And the brand has finally revealed their 11th-generation Core H-series processors. This will boost the performance of gaming laptops and bring more fluidity to the gaming experience.

Joakim Algstam, Director Enthusiast Laptop & Innovation Team, Intel says, “This is a very broad community of consumers, as there are approximately 1.4 billion gamers in the world, of which 300 million are enthusiast gamers who play the best games on uncompromising gaming PCs and laptops.”

The new 11th-generation Core H-series processors are based on 10-nanometer SuperFin process technology which is supported by single and dual core turbo performance up to 5-GHz with 8 cores and 16 threads. The CPU is designed to directly access high-speed GDDR6 memory which is attached to the graphics card. This feature will help gamers experience high frame rates at a lower latency and will also load textures of large size faster.

Along with gamers, the new processor chips will also benefit businesses and professionals. Its fast, performance intensive processing and heavy task handling features make it great for non-gamers too.

Intel is calling this version of the processor as the ‘World’s Best Gaming Laptop Processor.’ The latest offering includes some top-notch features like overclocking which will provide a best-in-class gaming experience to the users.

Algstam also revealed that the company studied the behavior of gamers last year. When people weren’t able to go out, they found themselves stuck with a laptop that couldn’t play the PC games that they were interested in playing. The company thus collaborated with its laptop manufacturing partner to build laptops with different sets of configurations and price levels that could meet the requirements as well as budgets of the different segments of buyers.

He also added that the COVID-19 situation has largely impacted the laptop buying patterns and preferences of gamers.”We have in the past seen people purchasing new laptops every five years — in terms of the average Windows laptop — and consumers replacing old laptops with newer ones every two to three years in the enthusiast gaming segment,” he says.
