Cold Deck is a Canadian movie filled with poker, crime and drama. It all begins when ‘Bobby,’ a compulsive gambler agrees to steal from ‘Turk’ a wealthy banker. All goes well for Bobby till Turk finds out and is hell-bent on catching him. The movie is an enjoyable watch despite its cheesy poker scenes.

KidPoker – 2015

KidPoker is a movie about famous poker star Daniel Negreanu. When PokerStars released the movie, Negreanu had been inducted newly into the Poker Hall of Fame. The documentary follows his journey through the years and is an insightful look into his life. A must watch for all poker fans.

Win It All – 2017

If you’re looking for a movie with humour mixed with gambling, then Win It All is a for you. This Netflix original is about a gambling addict who tries to rebuild his life after gambling away a large portion of money that wasn’t his. That is until a friend comes in with a bag full of money and tells him to take care of it until he gets out of prison. The movie is full of comic moments that’s bound to put a smile on your face.

Molly’s Game – 2017

This 2017 movie is based on a 2014 book of the same title. The film follows Bloom who runs an underground poker empire that caters to Hollywood celebrities, athletes, business tycoons and the Russian mafia. Bloom is soon subjected to an FBI investigation after her empire is exposed. Molly’s Game is a captivating watch from start to finish.
