FTS Day 9: Ankit Bajaj Ships Head Hunter For Over 6 Lakh


With just one more day to go before the Final Table Series (FTS) officially concludes, Saturday night, which marked the second last day, witnessed some high-octane action. Several players slogged hard to claim FTS titles and win a share from the mammoth ₹13+ crore GTD. Let’s quickly run through last night’s action.

FTS #34 – ₹6 Lakh GTD

The first tournament of the day, FTS #34 welcomed 736 entries and paid the top 71 places. The min-cash stood at ₹2,280.

Mystery player ‘ChunnuDon’ nailed the title and cashed ₹1,15,800. Ashish Pareek aka ‘X–factor’ finished second for ₹72,960.

FTS #35 – ₹5 Lakh GTD

The initial guarantee of this event was surpassed by a slim margin and the final prize pool stood at ₹5,42,000. Out of the 542 entries the top 39 places made it in the money and the min-cash stood at ₹3,739.

Aquib Ansari

Aquib Ansari aka ‘Aquib17’ and Alok Pawar aka ‘Alok’  struck a deal. Ansari cashed ₹1,01,426, while Pawar added ₹79,492 to his bankroll.

This Head Hunter event was a progressive knockout (PKO) tournament which crushed its initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹41,10,000. The ₹16,500 buy-in event paid the top 27 places out of the 274 entries.

Well-known player Ankit Bajaj aka ‘ON_MY_MAC’ became the biggest winner of the night after shipping this event for ₹6,06,910. Online reg Arun Sriram aka ‘vazharmorghulis’ was the runner-up for ₹4,09,630.

Adda52 Game Ambassador, Kunal Patni aka ‘SoormaBhopali’ and Rajesh Kumar MB aka ‘R-Dog’ ended the tournament in a deal. Patni took a pay cheque of ₹1,73,392 while Kumar took home ₹1,59,775 in prize money.
