FTS Day 10: Arsh Grover Ships The Main Event For 40.23 Lakh!


The last day of the Final Table Series (FTS) saw top pros battling it out. The virtual felts on Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER, and PokerHigh were set ablaze with players looking to grab the prestigious FTS Main Event (ME) title. Arsh Grover fought like a true hero to ship the ME and grab a truckload of money for his relentless efforts. Here’s a full recap of yesterday’s events.

Day 10 started with the FTS #38 event which drew in a total of 882 entries. The tournament crushed it’s initial guarantee and recorded a final prize pool of ₹13,23,000. The ₹1,650 buy-in event saw the top 87 players finish in the money. The min-cash was ₹4,101. Aayush Arya aka ‘Eureka226’ shipped the tournament and took home ₹2,53,354 in prize money. Poker pro Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Spewushhhiiiii’ was the runner-up for ₹1,57,701.

This tournament welcomed a total of 598 entries and had a buy-in worth ₹11,000. The event was a success as the original guarantee of ₹50 Lakh was crushed. The final prize pool stood at ₹59,80,000. Players in the top 55 places were paid and the min-cash paid was ₹29,302. The tournament ended in a deal. Amit Ajwani aka ‘DoctorGTO’ grabbed the title for ₹9,59,942 while India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2021 ME winner Laksh Pal Singh aka ‘LuckyBhai$’ was the runner-up for ₹9,35,717.

The top 71 players were paid and the min-cash stood at ₹7,900. Pradip Ghosh aka ‘Nit2Donk’ shipped the tournament and took home ₹3,78,991 in prize money. The runner-up was Mithilesh Choubey aka ‘StrangeSadhu’ who pocketed ₹2,75,061 in winnings.

The FTS ME had a gigantic ₹2 crore guarantee. The ₹35,000 buy-in event had 99 survivors from flights Day 1A and Day 1B who locked horns on Day 2.  The tournament was a massive success as the advertised guarantee was surpassed. The final prize pool stood at ₹2,10,88,000. The top 95 players finished in the money. The min-cash paid was ₹62,209. The prestigious ME title was nailed by Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymeR’ who had a payday of ₹40,23,590 and will also receive a diamond-studded gold medallion. The runner-up was Mohammad Azhar aka ‘Cupid stunt’ who walked away with ₹24,84,166 in his bankroll.
