FTS 2.0 Day 3: Akash Mishra and ‘SKAVANGER’ Claim Titles

The Indian poker scene is bustling more than ever with India Poker Championship’s (IPC) Final Table Series (FTS) 2.0 going on. We’ve reached Day 3 of this electrifying series and it looks like poker players are more charged up than with many of them making the money. Here are the winners who shipped Day 3 of FTS on Spartan Poker.

FTS #7 – 6 Lakh GTD

With a buy-in of INR 880, FTS #7 had a total number of 810 entries. The 6 Lakh GTD tournament surpassed its initial prize pool and recorded INR 6,48,000 as the final guaranteed prize pool. Out of the total entries, the top 79 were paid a min-cash of INR 2,203. The tournament ended in an ICM deal between the final two players. The first place went to Akash Mishra aka ‘killer gaming’ who took home winnings worth INR 1,12,074. In runner-up position, we had FTS #5 Double Stack winner, Ankit Omprakash Bajaj aka ‘ON_MY_MAC’ who walked away with INR 90,295 in prize money.

FTS #9 – 13 Lakh GTD

This 13 Lakh GTD tournament drew in a total number of 752 entries and had a buy-in of INR 2,200. The tournament crushed the advertised prize pool and recorded INR 15,04,000 as the final prize pool. The top 71 places were paid a min-cash of INR 5,715. Entering the tournament with a similar chip stack, players ‘SKAVANGER’ and ‘axone’ went head-to-head in the final table. With ‘axone’ going all-in pre-flop with hole cards A♣️ J♣️ and ‘SKAVANGER’ calling it, the board opens with the latter taking the pot. Player ‘SKAVANGER’ took home the winning title and INR 2,90,272 in prize money, while ‘axone’ walked away with INR 1,82,886.
