The Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 has been going on in full swing. The virtual felts of Spartan Poker, PokerHigh, and BLITZPOKER have been blazing with some power-packed action and intense gameplay. Yesterday was no different. FTS #11 Double Stack tournament was a fiery one. The ₹4,400 buy-in tournament, which features a massive prize pool of ₹25,00,000, saw top players battling it out.
Archit Saraogi aka ‘Archit789’ is an online reg with many notable titles to his credit. This poker pro has achieved a remarkable feat of shipping the Sunday Superstack three times in a row. Saraogi leads the FT with the biggest chip stack of 93 big blinds (BB). Will this poker pro dominate the game?
If you follow online poker, you know that Mohammad Azhar aka ‘Cupid stunt’ shipped the Main Event of the National Poker Series (NPS) on PokerBaazi for a massive ₹50.13 Lakh in June. Azhar finished at the eighth spot in FTS 3.0’s Saturday Special event. With the second-highest chip stack of 31 BB, it would be interesting to see if Azhar can put his best online skills to use and nail this tourney.
Not very far behind Azhar is ‘Strangler,’ who sits with 29 BB. This poker pro has many poker victories to his credit. He has nailed The Elite on Spartan Poker for ₹5.83 Lakh. This pro comes with nearly six years of experience and will be a tough contender on FT. Will he strangle his rivals on FT today? Only time will tell.
Abhishek Kumar Chaurasia
Abhishek Kumar Chaurasia aka ‘Bittur’ will resume the game with 19 BB at his disposal. Few know about this player, which makes him even more dangerous.
Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey07’ is a heavy-duty name on the FT. Don’t let his moniker mislead you because Munot plays like a magician on the poker table. This poker dynamo made some hefty cashes in the past. Munot nailed India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2019 Main Event for ₹37.5 Lakh and World Poker Tour (WPT) India Main Event for ₹63.48 Lakh in October 2019. Though he sits with just 13 BB, this pro can make the tables turn with his poker skills.
Just one BB behind Munot is Dharambir Yadav aka ‘Baba1981’ with 12 BB. All we know about Yadav is his name. Just like Chaurasia, it would be exciting to see what moves this pro makes on the FT.
Mystery player ‘sivaas’ will resume the game with 9 BB. Can ‘sivaas’ use his mystery player status to change the game in his favour?
Eshan Kapoor aka ‘Ekapoor’ sits with the lowest chip stack of 6 BB. In November 2020, Kapoor finished sixth in the FTS Big Game for ₹4.52 Lakh. Can this 27-year-old win the top spot with the lowest stack?
The Double Stack FT will be full of firecracker moves, and players need to bring their best game to the table. Catch the Double Stack FT action unfold live on Gutshot Magazine’s Facebook page and YouTube channel at 6 PM sharp today.
