FTS 3.0: Piyush Jain Leads Sunday Special With The Highest Chip Stack

The Final Table Series (FTS) 3.0 on the virtual felts of Spartan Poker, BLITZPOKER and PokerHigh have witnessed some nail-biting action so far. The Sunday Special event was paused after the final table (FT) was set with eight players. 594 entries battled it out, but only eight players made it to the FT. The game, which will resume today, promises some fireworks, given the exciting line-up. With Piyush Jain as the chip leader and the massive prize pool of ₹60 Lakh, there is a lot to look forward to at this event. Let’s have a look at the players on the FT today.

Piyush Jain

Piyush Jain aka ‘jacks_apart’ sits with the highest stack of 84 big blinds (BB) on the FT. Jain has an India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) July 2021 United title to his credit. The 28-year-old pro shipped this prestigious title for a massive ₹20.72 Lakh. Will Jain grab the Sunday Special title? Only time will tell.

‘borntrouble’

Sitting with the second-highest chip stack is ‘borntrouble’ with 63 BB. Varma is an online reg who grinds on various online poker platforms. This pro had chopped the Millionaire Legends tourney on Spartan Poker, back in November 2019, for a massive ₹40.30 Lakh. ‘borntrouble’ can be troublesome for his opponents on the FT given his experience of 10 years in the poker circuit.

Devang Yadav

Devang Yadav aka ‘THENERDGUY’ will resume Sunday Special with the third-highest stack (57 BB). Yadav had previously shipped Spartan Poker’s Millionaire Legends for ₹30 Lakh in May 2020. It will be interesting to watch Yadav’s gameplay alongside other pros.

Rahul Kumar

Rahul Kumar aka ‘BubbleDropMusic’ is a name to keep an eye on. This FT will be Kumar’s second consecutive one after Saturday Special. Kumar, who used the moniker ‘sttoned’ for the Saturday Special FT, changed his nickname to ‘BubbleDropMusic’ for the Sunday Special FT. Will the new nickname work its magic for Kumar, given that he sits with a stack of 48 BB?

Arun Karthik

Arun Karthik aka ‘Rohini Sharma’ will resume the FT today with 44 BB. This 32-year-old has shipped a $100k tournament on GGPoker. Karthik comes with 11 years of poker experience. His vast experience makes him a worthy rival.

Sunil Kumar Arora

Sunil Kumar Arora aka ‘bababk’ will grind with 41 BB on the Sunday Special FT today. In February 2021, Arora finished sixth in Spartan Poker’s Sunday Superstack event for a cool ₹2.16 Lakh. The 63-year-old player who’s been playing poker since 2016 is the oldest player on the FT. The poker circuit will watch this Noida-based player closely for his moves on the FT.

Haider Madraswala

Haider Madraswala aka ‘Callmebabe’ can prove to be a dangerous player on the FT today owing to his recent Friday Special victory. This 28-year-old added ₹9,74,500 to his bankroll after nailing the FTS 3.0 title. Madraswala had shipped the Millionaire event on Spartan Poker for ₹12+ Lakh in 2016. Will this pro add another FTS title to his credit with 35 BB at his disposal?

Jagat Bhandari

Jagat Bhandari, who goes by the moniker ‘jk307’ will resume FT with the lowest stack of 25 BB. In April 2021, this 43-year-old had won The Mint on Adda52 for ₹3.6 Lakh. Can this pro turn the tabes with his short stack?
