Fridays are the gateway to the busiest part of the week in poker world as players across the country prepare for weekend tourneys with huge guarantees! The biggest highlight of Friday was INR 25 Crore GTD IOPC on Spartan Poker, Adda52 Poker Fest INR 5.8 Crore GTD and Micro Millions on PokerStars India. So, let’s take a quick look back at last night’s action that went down on the virtual felts!

IOPC #61 TGIF

The Friday popular flagship event on Spartan Poker, INR 18 Lakhs GTD TGIF pulled in a monstrous field of 1,539 entries producing a guarantee-smashing prize pool worth INR 23.08 Lakhs. Capturing the winner’s cheque was Parikshit Dhall aka ‘zapdos1311’, claiming his first IOPC title in the ongoing series. Money reached the top 135 players who locked a minimum cash and strolled out. Dhall defeated Anuj Yadav aka ‘titooTauji’ in heads-up who eventually secured the second-place payout for his efforts!

IOPC #62 The Elite

Boasting a hefty INR 60 Lakhs GTD, the biggest tournament of the night was IOPC #62 The Elite on Spartan Poker. The event buy-in INR 11,000 captured attention of 738 entries accruing INR 73.80 Lakhs worth prize pool. Climbing to the top was well-known circuit grinder Ashish Ahuja aka ‘Sperwushhhiiiii’ who clinched to the top prize for his victory. Yowan Patel aka ‘PAPITO’ earned slightly less than the champion, securing the runner-up position. Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ finished in the third position.

The Ridge

Fridays on PokerBaazi is popular for the INR 3,300 buy-in The Ridge INR 10 Lakhs GTD. The event garnered a field of 299 entries and the money reached the top 36 places. Sreekanth Narayan aka ‘n0thing’ grabbed the lion’s share of the prize pool, earning INR 2.21 Lakhs in top prize after eliminating ‘Simsim’ in heads-up who secured INR 1.55 Lakhs. After the bubble burst, the top 36 players received a min-cash.

MICRO MILLIONS #52 Friday Euphoria

The 52nd Micro Millions event was INR 5 Lakhs GTD Friday Euphoria that clocked in 208 entries at the back of INR 2,200 buy-in. The event concluded with a heads-up deal and racing ahead to top the list to claim the biggest share of prize pool was online regular Sourabh Gehlot aka ‘ravenvlaw410’ who seized INR 87,073 while his opponent ‘mohitg16’ earned INR 76,721 for finishing second.

Uppercut

PokerStars India’s Friday feature Uppercut INR 10 Lakhs GTD Magic edition kicked off last night. The buy-in INR 4,400 event fetched 254 entrants and 47 top players took home INR 3.4K in min-cash. The last man standing was Aman Bhadu aka ‘zontory’ who defeated Srihari Bang aka ‘bangbang1999’ in heads-up. Both final players added INR 79,735 in cash prize. Following next was Anant Purohit aka ‘Dr4gonW4rrior’ who secured INR 48,125.
