With high octane energy seen throughout the online felts, it was the perfect way to welcome the weekend. This time, poker pros dominated the fields with many of them clinching title spots in these massive GTD tournaments. For the full report on the Friday night action, read below.
When it comes to high-value tournaments, no one does it better like Spartan Poker. The Elite tournament had a buy-in of ₹11,000 and an original guarantee of ₹35 Lakh. However, the sea of 467 total entries helped get the final prize pool to a whopping ₹46,70,000! For the top 39 places, this was good news as each took home a min-cash of ₹32,223.
Poker pro Harshit Sanghi aka ‘HeroCaller’ was the night’s biggest winner and added ₹8,33,320 to his bankroll. ‘ChasingExcellence’ followed him in second place and walked away with ₹7,25,525 in prize money.

The Ballers event on Adda52 has always managed to be a big crowd puller. The ₹22.5 GTD tournament had a ₹7,500 buy-in and welcomed a total of 418 entries. This bumped up the advertised prize pool to ₹28,63,297 crushing it in the process. Players who found themselves on the top 43 spots were duly given a min-cash of ₹15,758 as prize money.
Poker player Alok Birewar aka ‘APB1989’ got the title spot after making a deal with poker pro and FTS 2.0 Main Event Champion, Siddharth Karia aka ‘skaria1’ who came in second. Birewar took home a paycheck of ₹5,95,877 while Karia pocketed ₹5,43,716 in winnings.
As always, Fridays on PokerBaazi means playing the Weekly Highroller which has a ₹12 Lakh GTD. The tournament had a ₹11,000 buy-in and 178 total entries. This meant that the initial prize pool was crushed with ₹17,80,000 being the final amount. Players who made it to the top 21 places were given a min-cash of ₹19,760.
Shashank Desai aka ‘indianrat’ shipped the tournament and bagged ₹4,43,000 in prize money. Player ‘Realfc’ was the runner up and walked away with ₹3,10,000 in winnings.

Recently, the Futuristic on Spartan Poker has been drawing in a huge crowd of players. This could be due to its ₹880 buy-in which managed to pull in a massive total of 1,643 entries this week. This crushed the initial guarantee and recorded the final prize pool as ₹13,14,400. Due to this the top 151 entries made the money and pocketed a min-cash of ₹2,313.
Online reg Sanish Chhabra aka ‘Sanish21’ struck a deal with Abhimanyu Mittal aka ‘IshqBector’ and came out on top. Both of them took home ₹1,92,953 and ₹1,90,982 in prize money, respectively.
