#FlashbackFriday: When Aditya Wadhwani Impressed Us With His Wins

Hello poker players, we’re back with a Flashback Friday story. Remember the time when poker player, commentator, and content creator, Aditya Wadhwani shipped Spartan Poker’s SSS tournament in 2019. He won the tournament and took home INR 6,00,800 in prize money. Wadhwani has been winning consistently and his fans are mighty impressed. Last December, when India’s premier Heads Up championship by 9stacks took place, Wadhwani was one of the toughest competitors who ended up as the runner-up in the tournament.

This poker pro began his poker journey when he was studying in college. What started out as a recreational sport became his full-time profession. He has not only been playing poker for a decade now but he also ensures that the game is perceived in the right manner.  He mentions that there are ups and downs in poker but works through problems rationally in poker.

The poker content creator and streamer made headlines recently when he and his wife Gayeti Singh featured in the Netflix series called ‘The Big Day.’ This series was produced by Conde Nast India. The two-part series featured six couples and beautiful marriage stories. Wadhwani and Gayeti’s story got a thunderous response from the poker community. The reality series ‘The Big Day’ by Conde Nast India on Netflix brought us closer to the grandeur of Indian marriages and documented the pre-nuptials of the marriage ceremony and all that goes into making the perfect high-profile wedding. Wadhwani’s presence in The Big Day brought a lot of attention to the Indian poker industry as fans were eager to know more about this prolific player.
