EPT Cyprus 2024 Winners List

The European Poker Tour (EPT) Cyprus 2024 had some of the most exciting events lined up all of October, and some of the most talented and popular poker players made their way to the felts. The series was held at Merit Diamond Hotel Casino and Spa in Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus.

The tournament had some plans for every poker player, as it had events ranging from mystery bounty to high roller and super high roller, ensuring a strong presence of poker players, and had some exciting hands and games for poker enthusiasts. The 2024 iteration of the tour has worked once again to concrete EPT’s brand value in the poker world.

The series was memorable for several reasons, including the fact that Ryan Mandara shipped the EPT High Roller title, taking home $709,285 in what could only be termed a lightning-fast finish. The event saw a staggering 456 players with a buy-in of $10,300. Mandara worked his magic through the hands and finally set up with Sebastian Maler for a head-up deal.  The Pole took home $697,115. With this win, Mandara also broke into the top 100 UK’s all-time money list. 

Also, Mikalai Vaskaboinikau saw his second EPT trophy at the $10,200 No-Limit Hold’em, rounding off his year of victories, which included him taking a Triton event for $4,737,000. At Cyprus, Mikalai also got his first PokerStars Shard, as well as shipping $601,397 and the $50,000 Super High Roller. Even here, Mikalai was in a heads-up deal with Krasimir Neychey of Bulgaria, taking home $195,500.

Then, Oliver Weis cornered the Main Event flag, and for him, it was just another addition to a flurry of wins that he experienced throughout the year, with this being his third major title within a year. He began the year by shipping the €10,300 High Roller event at EPT Paris, taking the first prize of €970,200. He then won the $5,000 Short Deck Championship, an online bracelet event, and added a win at Cyprus to all the good news going around.

Some Indians were also in the fray, including Santhosh Suvarna and Apoorva Goel, who saw money at the Main Event and the Mystery Bounty events, respectively.

These are just some of the high-profile winners who took home a serious amount, all thanks to their skill at the game. With the series now wrapped up, EPT will hold their tournament in Prague from 4th to 15th December.
