Elder Scrolls Online Can Run On Nintendo Switch Through Mods

Nintendo Switch owners can now play Elder Online on their consoles. The company has announced that Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) will be available on  PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on June 15.

Currently, Elder Online is available for a purchase and download on most of the gaming platforms except Nintendo consoles. Additionally, the multi-player game is being optimized for next-gen consoles.

Elder Scrolls Online developer Zenimax Online Studios recently decided to delay the release of ESO: Console Enhanced by a week. The developer took the decision in order to avoid clashing with the upcoming Blackwood expansion, which releases on the same day as Console Enhance.

Presently, Elder Scrolls Online is not available on the Nintendo Switch platform, however, one modder has figured out a way to play the game on Nintendo Switch. Gadaaavo, a Reddit user has managed to play the game on his Nintendo console. This can be done by using a combination of mods with the Xbox Remote Play. Gadaaavo posted a step-by-step guide on accessing this  widely played multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) on Nintendo.

The multiplayer game allows players to explore several locations within the Tamriel environment. Also, every main series on Elder Scrolls Online allows the players to explore one specific area of the continent. These reasons make the game one of the most loved games among players. 

Players enjoy revisiting the areas of the world from previous titles. For instance, the first Elder Scrolls Online expansion was set in Morrowind. It allowed players to explore the map even in the areas that did not feature in the original Elder Scrolls version of Morrowind.
