Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT Xpress) Main Event Winners List

Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) is a popular live poker tournament series in India and has carved a niche among poker players. Also taking place for the past few years is the DPT Xpress series for those with smaller bankrolls. The series is back after a hiatus and will commence on 24th to 29th July 2024, onboard Goa’s Deltin Royale Casino.

DPT Xpress is well known for its ultra-accessible buy-ins, making it the best venue for poker players of all expertise levels to get in on the fun and excitement of playing live poker. The series has seen some incredible wins since its inception, and here’s a list of all the DPT Xpress Main Event winners since its inception.

DPT Xpress March 2018

DPT Xpress started in Gangtok, Sikkim in 2018. The Main Event saw 67 entrants, and Bhola Sharma of Gangtok beat them to ship a prize of  ₹3.40 Lakh. Since then, Sharma has had total live earnings of ₹83,699. According to Hendon Mob, the only other poker tournament Sharma has cashed in was the Deltin Poker Tournament in Goa, for ₹88,700 in February 2018.

DPT Xpress March 2019

The 2nd edition of the series took place in Sikkim’s Deltin Denzong Casino, and saw Ankit Jajodia shipping the prize of ₹3.25 Lakhs and eliminating the other 63 entries. Since then, Jajodia has upped up his cash-in list. He is 44th on the India All Time Money list. 

DPT Xpress June 2019

In the same year, the series shifted to Goa and saw an increase in contestants, reaching 205 entries for the Main Event. Anant Purohit won the event and prize money ₹7.40 Lakh. His last live recorded live cash was at India Poker Championship Megastacks, Jhapa, where he placed 36th and took home the prize money of ₹126,300.

DPT Xpress February 2020

Just before the pandemic hit, DPT Xpress had its fourth edition in Goa and saw Deepak Raina take the prize money of ₹7 Lakh, among 192 entrants. Since then, he has had the biggest online score of ₹20,65,416 and has a lifetime total that’s less than 1 Crore.

DPT Xpress March 2021

DPT Xpress was the first live poker series in India since the pandemic and was held in Goa. The ante was up, with 421 entries. Ramesh Rao Thotapalli won a hefty ₹12.04 Lakh among 421 entries.
