DPT 65K Highroller: Nikhil Kedia Leading At The End Of Day 1

The biggest marquee event in the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) April 2022 is the ₹65K Highroller. The tournament attracted some of the big names from the country. This deep structured tournament started with 100-100 blinds and players were given a starting stack of 40K chips. 

Tournament Highlights

At the end of Day 1, Nikhil Kedia was leading the 123 survivors with a chip stack of 208,300. Dhirendra Kumar closely follows Kedia with 200,000 chips, Ankur Sehgal is third with 192,800 chips and National Poker Series 2021 Main Event winner Mohammad Azhar is fourth with 183,900 chips. 

Among the notable survivors are Siddhanth Kripalani, Abhinav Iyer, Abhishek Goindi, Aman Bhadu, Aniket Waghmare, Arsh Grover, Chirag Sodha, Goonjan Mall, Gokul Raj, Kanchan Sharma, Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni, among others. 

DPT April 2022: Main Event Day 1B (Turbo Flight)

The second among the three starting flights of the 1.2 Crore GTD Main Event began yesterday. Day 1B Turbo had 13 levels of 20 minutes which started at 9 PM yesterday. At level 13 (1,000-2,000 and ante 2,000) saw Ankit Jadojia bust at the hands of Akash Singhal. Jadojia from the UTG position goes all-in for 12.5K. Singhal makes the call and other players fold.

Both the players had a nine pair but Singhal won it with a higher kicker (ace). Some of the notable players who made their best moves on Day 1B were Jaideep Sajwan, Abhishek Goindi, Arsh Grover, Arjanveer Singh Chadha and Ashish Ahuja. The late registration closed with 89 entries on level 10 with blinds at 500-1,000 and 1,000 ante.
