One of the most popular live poker series in India, is making a grand return. Yes, we are talking about the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT). The live poker tournament series powered by Adda52 returns in October from 11th to 16th.
Poker pros and enthusiasts from all over the country head to Goa to mark their attendance in DPT, and trust us when we say, the live series is nothing less than a poker fiesta. Recreational players also show up in large numbers as this event makes for a perfect combination of poker, fun and entertainment.
The upcoming edition is expected to be bigger and bolder. While DPT shared the news of its upcoming edition on its Instagram handle, not all details about the event are out yet. The schedule will be out soon and Gutshot Magazine will keep you updated.
When it comes to the previous edition of DPT, it was hosted from 18th to 24th July 2023 at Deltin Royale, Goa. The series saw Vasu Bansal emerge victorious in the Main Event and take home a pay cheque of ₹53.76 Lakh. Even though Bansal struck a deal with his heads-up rival Krishna Khaitan, the two players fought hard for the DPT Main Event title and trophy.
When it comes to the tournaments, the July 2023 edition had an innovative tournament in its schedule. Players got a chance to participate in Flip & Ship wherein players were competing in a showdown and the player with the best hand qualifies to move ahead.
DPT July 2023 also had Big Bounty PLO and Teams Event which saw players sign up in large numbers. The Mini Main Event is expected to make a return in the upcoming edition as many players appreciated the inclusion of this tournament.
