Deepankur Gupta Ships Spartan Poker’s Highroller For Over 12 Lakh


Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, Adda52 and PokerStars hosted high-value events yesterday. Some of the top grinders who clinched winning titles were Ritwik Khanna, Deepankur Gupta, Atishay Samuel, Rubin Labroo among others. Keep reading to know more about the events that were hosted last night.  

SCS #53 – Thursday Celebration – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Thursday Celebration on Spartan Poker had 546 entries in total, with 255 unique players, 94 re-entries and 197 re-buys. The advertised guarantee was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹27,30,000. The top 47 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. The tournament was a deal between popular online reg Ritwik Khanna aka ‘Fisherman1997’ and an anonymous player called ‘Dr Putin.’ Khanna walked away with ₹4,46,079 while the mystery player pocketed ₹4,23,971 in prize money. The second runner-up was Dhirendra Kumar aka ‘BustedFish’ who cashed ₹2,53,344 in prize money.

SCS #55 – Highroller – ₹50 Lakh GTD

Deepankur Gupta aka ‘AngryPitbull’ and Shashank Jain aka ‘gtoexploiter77’ ended this ₹27,500 buy-in highroller tournament in a deal. Gupta walked away with ₹12,48,000 in prize money while Jain cashed ₹8,47,600. The tournament had 208 entries, comprising 105 unique players, 41 re-entries and 62 rebuys. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹52,00,000. The top 20 players made it in the money. A min-cash of ₹69,680 was paid.

Highroller – ₹10 Lakh GTD

The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed by a small margin and the final prize pool stood at ₹10,85,000. The event was a deal between Atishay Samuel aka ‘momstacos’ and Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm236.’ Samuel fired four bullets and walked away with ₹2,10,258 while Joshi fired two bullets and cashed ₹1,94,391.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Godfather tournament had 521 entries in total, comprising 266 unique players and 255 re-entries. The top 55 players made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹11,723. Adda52’s prestigious Godfather title was clinched by Raghav Bansal aka ‘BaLuGaWhAlE’ who added ₹6,25,200 to his bankroll. The runner-up in the ₹5,500 buy-in event was Gokul Raj aka ‘Niruha’ who walked away with ₹3,64,700 in prize money. The advertised guarantee of this event was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹26,05,021.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Summit tournament had 317 entries in total, comprising 165 unique players and 152 re-entries. The top 36 players made it in the money in this ₹8,250 buy-in event. The min-cash paid was ₹16,170. This event was a deal between India Poker Championship (IPC) January 2020 winner Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ and  India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2020 Millionaire Main Event winner, Anurag Srivastava aka ‘13anurag.’ Labroo cashed ₹4,82,000 while Srivastava took home ₹4,12,000 in prize money. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed impressively and the final prize pool stood at ₹23,77,000.
