Daniel Negreanu Highlights His Body Transformation

With six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles, the poker legend Daniel Negreanu happens to be a dedicated vegan and stands firm against consuming meat products. On 4 July, Negreanu uploaded a tweet revealing his body transformation as vegan, taking social media by thunder!

After his return from WSOP Europe last fall, he revealed that he weighed 176 pounds. In 9 months since the series, he lost nearly 40 pounds and is weighing in at just shy of 139 pounds. In an interview, Negreanu said “My diet’s now as good as it’s ever been, and although my veganism started out absolutely about health, it’s also become about the environment and animal cruelty. The way animals are treated and the conditions are atrocious. They’re force fed steroids, the chickens are debeaked. You end up eating sick, diseased chickens because they’re living in shit. It’s like a holocaust on animals.”

Even though the lockdown has brought us to a standstill, ‘Kidpoker’ has taken this opportunity to engage in a well balanced diet with some muscles training to transform his body. Even though being a vegan, he proves that it does not hinder in endurance or physical strength as long as the body is getting the proper nutrients and minerals it needs. The GGPoker Ambassador shared images on Instagram as well, stating that the shredding part of his diet was over and that he was looking forward to bulking up.

Negreanu has over $42 million dollars in live poker tournament winnings and sits third in all time money list. Right now the player is dedicating his time to crush the WSOP and grab the seventh bracelet after tweeting about putting out a $1 million challenge that he would win a bracelet in 2020. “I’ll take 2.5 to 1 that I win a WSOP bracelet in 2020.” For more such updates on poker industry, stay tuned to GutshotMagazine.com !
