The Indian poker fraternity is brimming with talented players, who are defying all odds and setting newer benchmarks in the poker industry. One such talented player is Laksh Pal Singh. This young gun became a poker pro and has not looked back ever since. Singh has been nailing titles and achieving remarkable feats and leaving everyone awestruck.

The former India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) 2021 The Crown Main Event winner had an incredible year. Singh started 2021 by shipping the IOPC January 2021 Main Event title. Since then, the poker pro has maintained his form on the virtual poker felts. We are not surprised to know that Singh has been chosen as the PokerStars player of the month for his winning streak and impressive gameplay throughout the month.

We connected with Singh to know more about his strategies, future plans and some fun facts about his poker journey. Excerpts from the interview.

You have been selected as the Player of the Month by PokerStars. What do you like the most about PokerStars India?
PokerStars India offers the best structures to play. Along with that, I enjoy playing the smaller field in high roller tournaments, which PokerStars India specialises in.

What does your grinding schedule look like?
I play 4-5 times a week. I start playing at around 8 PM and grind until 4-5 AM. I play all the features across all sites.

Live poker is gradually starting again. Any plans of playing live?
Yes, I definitely plan on travelling and playing live in the coming year.

You were the IOPC January 2021 Main Event champion, and you have been in excellent form for a while now, can we expect to see you playing at the WSOP next year?
Definitely, yes!

What plans are on cards for December? Do you plan on visiting the casinos in Goa since casinos have resumed operations?
If there is a live MTT series happening, then I’m definitely visiting Goa, or else I’ll continue playing online throughout December.

Rapid-fire
Your most memorable FT?
