Bhola Sharma ships The Whale on Adda52

Featured tournaments on Adda52 are the biggest daily tournaments on their platform and these take place throughout the week. For Friday nights, The Whale 6-Max is the tournament everyone wants to play in, as a massive INR 15 lakh guaranteed prize pool is up for grabs here.

Players began their weekend by participating in this tournament on Friday night at 8pm, where a total field of 177 entries registered to the popular tournament. The tournament has a buy-in of INR 7,500 and it usually sees a lot of top players taking part; this time was no different.

It was a packed field where only the top 12 players were paid out eventually. As the field kept getting smaller, many top players exited the tournament, including Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘badtameez_donk’ who busted in 8th place for INR 45,000. Just last weekend, he won The Whale for nearly four lakh rupees.

Busting his chip stack in 7th place was none other than Shravan Chhabria aka ‘sweatmyass13’ who is a popular pro with many poker achievements, including winning Adda52’s Godfather trip to Europe recently. He was followed by Pradeep Singh aka ‘MegaFish1’ who finished 6th after winning the Sunday Suits just a couple of days back.

As all these regs busted from the tournament, the competition got tougher and eventually, it was Bhola Sharma aka ‘bhola’ who outlasted the entire field and walked away with the top prize of INR 4,50,000 for shipping the tournament. He himself is not new to wins on Adda52, having earlier won the Judwaa and Godfather tournaments back-to-back.

It was an extremely long grind of over 8 hours and the tournament finally ended at 4:08am on Saturday morning. This happened when Sharma beat Mihir Thakkar aka ‘gameofdeath’ in heads-up, who settled for the runner-up prize of INR 2,85,000, after recently also finishing second in The Roar on Adda52.
