Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier becomes latest GGPoker Ambassador!

The online poker site GGPoker is continuing to make headlines. Just after announcing its partnership with World Series of Poker (WSOP) Super Circuit Online series in May, the platform joined hands with Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier!

The GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu was chilling out on his backyard yesterday when he posted on his Instagram handle that Grospellier was the latest addition to the team. Negreanu will be reunited with his former PokerStars colleague, who referred to him as a, “great guy and an even better player.”

Grospellier was an eSports player before he turned to poker. He used to play games like StarCraft and Warcraft III professionally in South Korea. He honed his skills in the high stakes cash tables on PokerStars under the username ‘ElkY’. Even more impressively, Grospellier is called the ‘Triple Crown’ in poker world, according to his Hendon Mob, he has won WSOP, WPT and an EPT title.

“I am excited to join GGPoker, the most ambitious poker site,” Grospellier said. “With clear focus on software and making poker fun again, there has never been a better place to play online poker.” He also went on explaining to his fans that GGpoker has the best software “by far,” he continued, “For example, you can squeeze your cards. Not just that but you can squeeze the river card even though that’s not something you can do in live poker of course! That’s one of my favourite features.”

First in France’s all-time money list, Grospellier joined partypoker in April 2018 before entering GGPoker. For nearly 12 years he was also a member Team PokerStars. The Frenchman boasts over $14 million in lifetime earnings and has joined Negreanu, Bryn Kenney and Felipe Ramos as the newest brand ambassador. Both Negreanu and Ramos were former members of Team PokerStars.
