Arsh Grover Wins The Flash On Spartan Poker

Last night saw Arsh Grover emerging victorious in the Flash tournament at The Spartan Poker claiming the title for INR 2,61,330. Grover who plays under the moniker‘BigggTymeR’ has also claimed the Last Man Standing contest on social media. Grover was also awarded a ticket to Two of a Kind tournament and a cash prize of INR 3,000.

The INR 4,400 buy-in tournament saw a participation of 281 entries to make a prizepool of INR 11.24 Lakhs easily surpassing the prizepool guarantee of INR 10 Lakhs. The prizepool collected was shared by top 23 places with a min-cash of INR 13,038. Grover outlasted these entries and gave a tough fight to the heads-up opponent ‘siva’ in the final battle of the tournament.

In Level #41 with blinds running 14,000-28,000-3,500, heads-up players ‘siva’ and ‘BigggTymeR’ had Kc Ks and As Jd respectively. Both players pushed all their chips in pre-flop. The showdown board had Qh 8h Qs Ah 4d which gave two pairs, Aces and Queens to ‘BigggTymeR’ and the title of this tournament. ‘siva’ would have to settle for INR 177,030 for his at second place finish.
