Arsh Grover: Poker Pro, Traveller, Wine Connoisseur and more

Poker pro Arsh Grover is one of the most well-known poker players in India. This player who hails from Delhi is one of the top-notch poker pros in the country and we wanted to look at his interests and hobbies other than the game of poker. A sneak peek into his Instagram profile gave us insights into the free-spirited life that Grover likes to live.

Grover who shipped his first live tournament during India Poker Championship in August 2015 has traveled to more than 15 countries. He is a Hip-Hop connoisseur who loves art, wine among other things and is everyone’s envy. Let’s dive a little deep into this poker pros various interests in life.

Travel

Grover has traveled to Barcelona, Prague, Amsterdam, and other places for a few years until he turned 21 when he could attend WSOP in Las Vegas, every poker player’s dream destination. His Instagram feed is filled with images of beautiful destinations and picturesque skylines that makes us jealous of the number of countries he has visited.

Lover of Art and Wine

Grover’s aim of visiting beautiful destinations, reminds us of a person fully committed to the wanderlust path. This poker dynamo is a man who loves colours and captures them impeccably through his lens.

Grover who is a fitness enthusiast, also has a fine collection of upscale liquor from across the globe. From images of a brewery in Amsterdam to several pictures of wine bottles and graffiti will leave one’s imagination wandering. We are still drooling over the image of Grover from his vacation in Prague, where he was photographed holding a wine bottle.

Fitness

Grover took to fitness roughly 3 years back and shared a picture from his workouts during IPC January in Goa last year. He posted an image of him holding weights and showing off his abs and toned body.

Poker players taking good care of their health & fitness has become a trend these days. Poker is a mind sport and physical fitness plays an important role as it makes players calmer, sharper, and more focused during longer sessions. With everyone striving to compete at the highest levels in this mind sport, we realize that most of the top poker pros globally have taken nutrition, health, and fitness as a priority.

Just like Grover, Ashutosh Balodhi recently had an incredible body transformation. You can check out the interview of Balodhi in our January e-magazine.
