APPT Manila 2022: Laksh Pal Singh And Deepak Bothra On The FT Of Event 10 National


PokerStars’ Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Manila 2022 has been witnessing some unparalleled action, and the Indian contingent is making their presence felt at the series. The 13th edition of the series, which kick-started on 29th July 2022, and will go on till 7th August 2022, is currently underway at the PokerStars LIVE Manila poker room, located in the Coral Lounge of the iconic Okada Manila.

In the latest update, Indian players Laksh Pal Singh and Deepak Bothra have managed to make it to the final table of Event 10 APPT Nationals. The event had 90 surviving entries from two starting flights battling it out on Day 2. PokerStars APPT Manila shared a picture of the final tablists on Twitter:

The event has the top 55 players making it in the money and taking home a minimum paycheque of ₱60,500 (~$1,090). The final prize pool now stands at ₱12,435,885 (~$224,590) as the remaining nine players on the final table will all cash a minimum ₱236,085 (~$4,260), and battle it out for the top prize of ₱2,465,000 (~$44,515).

India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2022 Main Event winner Singh also shared his progress on his Instagram story. He currently has 1,985,000 chips (66.2BB) at his disposal and is second in chip counts. He will resume the final table today at 15,000/30,000 blinds. The final table has the top nine players who are all set to battle it out.

Earlier this week, Indian player Akshay Nasa clinched the Event #12 ₱100 NHL Shot Clock – Freezeout title and took home ₱712,200 (~₹10.15 Lakh) along with the APPT trophy. Additionally, Dhaval Mudgal also marked his first cash at the series SuperDeep was a No-Limit Hold’em event where he cashed ₱129,500 (~₹1.85 Lakhs). Other Indian players like Shardul Parathasarathi, Sameer Agarwal, Dhanesh Chainani, Jasven Saigal, Gaurav Sood, and Ankit Wadhawan are also grinding at the series in Manila.
