With only a week and a half left for the year to end, online poker platforms are going full throttle with their poker action. Top poker platforms like Spartan Poker, Adda52, and PokerBaazi were buzzing with energy as the action got intense. Let’s do a quick recap of last night’s tournaments.
The Mega Stack on Spartan Poker is a Tuesday staple and drew in a crowd of 533 entries. The tournament had a buy-in of ₹3,300 and an advertised guarantee of ₹15 Lakh. The final prize pool generated was ₹15,99,000 which surpassed the initial amount by a slim margin. The tournament saw the top 47 players finish in the money, and the min-cash paid was ₹9,114.
The event ended in a deal between Anirudh Mudimela aka ‘flash’ and Anmol Narang aka ‘geeegeee.’ Mudimela grabbed the top spot and walked away with ₹2,64,943 in prize money while player ‘geeegeee’ went home with ₹2,44,657.
The Mint on Adda52 had a total of 427 entries battling it out for the title spot. The ₹3,850 buy-in event had a ₹14 Lakh guarantee which was quickly surpassed, and the final prize pool reached ₹14,94,501. Finishing in the money were the top 43 players and the min-cash paid stood at ₹8,220. Prateek Pandey aka ‘ishuv’ shipped the tournament and had a payday of ₹3,70,636. So far, Pandey has recorded lifetime winnings of ₹26.20 Lakh. In the runner-up position was mystery player ‘Sammybulldog’ with ₹2,24,175 in prize money.
Other players who made it in the money were Aman Parakh aka ‘karmapoker’ (6th, ₹52,308), Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ (20th, ₹12,703), India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) January 2021 Millionaire Legends and Mastermind winner Aniket Waghmare aka ‘anteman’ (27th, ₹11,209), actor, DJ, and poker player Siddhanth Kapoor aka ‘bullzeyepower’ (31st, ₹9,714), and poker pro Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘arjan30’ (38th, ₹8,220).
The Endeavour on PokerBaazi added to the Tuesday thrill and had a total of 344 entries. Players were on the edge of their seats as they fought hard for a share of the ₹12 Lakh guarantee. With the total number of entries and the ₹3,850 buy-in, the original guarantee was surpassed. The final prize pool was ₹12,04,000. The top 45 players finished in the money, and the min-cash paid was ₹6,742. Player Abhishek Sonu aka ‘chipndchair’ shipped the tournament and pocketed ₹2,53,000 in prize money. The runner-up position was claimed by a mystery player called ‘Steelbala’ who added ₹1,77,000 to his bankroll. Among the players who finished in the money were Harsh Dembla aka ‘100crdream’ (3rd, ₹1.14 Lakh), Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator’ (6th, ₹50,570), and Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ (14th, ₹15,050).
