Who is Anirban Das Poker?

Anirab Das was born and brought up in Mumbai. However, he now resides in Gurgaon, Delhi. He completed his MBA degree in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. He was introduced to the game during his MBA days. After completing his degree, he landed in a job in Bengaluru at Zynga, which was one of the first online poker sites in the country. While working there, he used to play on the site and instantly got hooked to the game.

Eventually, Anirab Das realised that the game requires a lot of logic and skill. He decided to take a sabbatical from work and began playing poker tournaments seriously. That was the start of Anirban Das’ poker career. He boasts a poker career of more than 12 years now.

He has several online titles to his name domestically, such as India Online Poker Championship (IOPC), among others. He also has cashed at WSOP ONLINE 2021 on GGPoker (International), wherein he finished 646th for $1,413 at $400 No Limit Hold’em – Colossus Online event.
