Andrew Moreno Ships Venetian $2,500 Event For $242,293

Andrew Moreno secured his second-largest score after nailing the $2,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em ‘UltimateStack’ event for $242,293. The 2021 Wynn Millions champion battled a field of 542 players to nail the winning title. So far, this player has accumulated more than $850,000 in tournament scores as grinding in MTTs was a secondary focus for this 38-year-old. 

Other well-known players who made it big in this tournament were Barry Hutler (7th, $35,142), 2019 WPT Venetian Main Event winner Ben Palmer (19th, $10,481), 2021 MSPT Riverside Main Event winner, Daniel Seipol (12th, $16,646), 2013 WSOP Main Event champ, Ryan Riess (33rd, $6,782). 

Moreno took to Twitter in March 2021 and posted, ‘getting back on the tourney grind’ and has since cashed more than $1.9 million dollars. Moreno clinched the title in the 2021 Wynn Millions Main Event after beating 1,328 entries and took home $1,460,106 in prize money. Apart from this, Moreno received 1,260 Card Player Player of the Year (POY) points as the winner.  This was Moreno’s second POY qualified score after finishing eighth in the $575 Run Good Poker Series event at Jamul Casino for a pay cheque of $6,520 and 70 points. Monero made it among the top 20 names in 2021’s POY standings.

Moreno’s family is well-known in the poker world. The 2021 Wynn Millions champ’s brother is a poker vlogger named ‘Johnnie Vibes’ Moreno was the runner-up in the Mid-States Poker Tour Venetian Poker Bowl VI $1,100 buy-in event for $124,675. Andrew’s wife Kristy Arnett Moreno is also known in poker circle. She made it to the final table of 2018 World Series of Poker Circuit Bicycle Casino Main Event.
