The first partypoker Live MILLIONS Barcelona Super High Roller has concluded at the Casino Barcelona, and Germany’s poker pro Andreas Eiler shipped the tournament for a massive prize of €700,000 for first place. The MILLIONS Grand Finale marks the end of the MILLIONS season, and the series is scheduled to be played between 7th and 15th April 2018.
Event #2 was the €25k buy-in Super High Roller, and this event saw a total of 88 entries, creating a prizepool of over €2 million. Some of the best poker pros from around the world took part in this super high roller event, including 2017 Female Player of the Year Kristen Bicknell, who is having a great run at the moment.
For Eiler, this win became the second biggest live poker win of his career. Late last year, he scored a massive €2,155,418 at the WSOPE One Drop event in Rozvadov. This latest win of €700,000 (~ $861,644) has taken his career winnings past the $4 million mark.
He reached heads up against his countryman Rainer Kempe, a pro who has over $15 million in live cashes, following the €450,000 he took home here, for second place. The table also consisted of Erik Seidel, a player who is second on the list of all-time poker earnings. However, Eiler managed to overpower them all, after holding the chip lead at the end of Day 1 as well.
The second €25k Super High Roller also began and a winner will be decided later tonight. There is also a €50k SHR, followed by the €100k SHR and the mega Main Event to be played at the partypoker Live MILLIONS Barcelona, so keep following GutshotMagazine.com for the latest updates!
