Anant Purohit Ships PLO High Roller To Walk Away Wealthiest


The penultimate night of the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2023 saw some intense action as players fought hard to grab the last few titles. Poker pro Anant Purohit took down the PLO High Roller with the biggest payday, while other regs like Vaibhav Sharma and Harsh Dev Jhirmiria also took down titles.

IOPC #129 – ₹10 Lakh GTD

This event had a total of 498 entries, out of which the top 39 places cashed a min-cash of ₹6,900.

Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘Aam Jahe Munde’ topped the table for ₹1,79,477, while Ghanshyam Das Jhangyani aka ‘sewadari’ finished second for ₹1,54,322.

IOPC #130 Saturday Prime – ₹35 Lakh GTD

The 783 entries at this event crushed the initial guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹39,15,000. The top 71 places made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹14,877.

Rahul Kumar aka ‘raul21raul’ and Harsh Bubna aka ‘harsh12345’ ended the tourney in deal, pocketeing ₹5,52,735 and ₹5,26,953 respectively.

Anant Purohit aka ‘Shaarang’ shipped this event for ₹9,60,000. At the runner-up spot, Vishal Tulsyan aka ‘Alicent Hightower’ cashed ₹6,52,000.

Jaikiran Kumar aka ‘NAA ORU ALIEN’ and Dhaval Solanki cashed ₹2,42,510 and ₹2,32,989 respectively after striking a heads-up deal.

  • Buy-in: ₹2,750
  • Places paid: 55
  • Min-cash: ₹7,350

IOPC #133 PKO – ₹8 Lakh GTD

Out of the 820 entries at this tourney, the min-cash of ₹1,394 was enjoyed by the top 79 places.

Harsh Dev Jhirmiria aka ‘Top G’ nailed the top spot for ₹78,679. ‘Vvcxyz‘ finished second for ₹49,364.
