Anant Purohit And Gaurav Sood Nailed Top Titles


Tuesdays saw a lot of pros and recreational players flex their muscles to ship tournaments at the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) June 2023. While many players were seen bustling with high energy on the virtual felts aiming to nail top titles and bask in the glory, only a few won the coveted titles. Let’s take a look at yesterday’s action that took place at the IOPC June 2023. 

IOPC  #98 Tuesday Prime (45 Lakh GTD)

Rajat Mahajan aka ‘$uper$ystem’ emerged victorious in this tourney and bagged a payday of ₹6,15,531. The second-place finisher was Azaan Ahmed aka ‘papertiger’ who added a sum of ₹6,14,586 to finish in the runner-up position. This ₹5,500 buy-in event  had a total of 905 entries which generated a prize pool of ₹45,25,000. The top 87 places were paid, and the min-cash was ₹14,027.

IOPC  #99 Tuesday High (35 Lakh GTD)

This tourney had a prize pool of ₹40,90 000 and  409 entries, with Anant Purohit aka ‘Shaarang’ nailing the top spot for a pay cheque of ₹7,01,768. The ₹11,000 buy-in event saw Anmol Narang aka ‘wouldIlietoyou’ claim the second spot and walk away with ₹6,63,473. A total of 39 players made ITM, with the min-cash sitting at ₹28,221.

IOPC  #100 Tuesday Spotlight (18 Lakh GTD)

Ram Pal aka ‘turn River’ won this tournament, which boosted a prize pool of ₹18,70,000. This player added a sum of ₹3,60,910  to their bankroll while the second place finisher Siddharth Gangwar aka ’cooking_nuts’ had a payday of ₹2,27,1392. The total entries stood at 748, while the min-cash paid was ₹7,106, with 81 players cashing out in this event.

IOPC  #101 All Rounder (11 Lakh GTD)

This event recorded a prize pool of ₹11,17,1500 where Gaurav Sood, aka ‘mozzie17’ emerged victorious and pocketed ₹2,16,124 while Sid Khanna aka ‘Cornerpoket’ walked away with ₹1,36,335. There were 745 entries, with 63 players walking away with rewards while the min-cash stood at ₹4,861.
