Daniel Negreanu Welcomes Alexandra Botez As The New GGPoker Ambassador

Popular content creator and poker player, Alexandra Botez is the latest GGPoker Ambassador. Botez is a chess player who ventured into poker and carved a niche for herself. GGPoker dropped a video on their official YouTube channel where Daniel Negreanu is seen welcoming Botez as the new GGPoker ambassador. The six-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner is seen playing a heads-up session with Botez.

DNegs was seen having a fun conversation with the young poker talent and getting to know her gameplay. The Dallas-born player revealed that she started playing poker because her father taught her the card game. Botez further added that her father used to watch Negreanu play poker on TV and really admired his game.

The 21-year-old asked ‘KidPoker’ about tournament play and heads-up. Botez seemed curious to know which one DNegs preferred. The Canadian pro revealed that he is a true-blue tournament player and has played ample heads-up to know that the latter feels like bullet chess. 

The video saw Negreanu discuss poker strategy, terminology and live tells with the newly appointed GGPoker ambassador. 

Alexandra Botez’s poker outing

Botez was last seen grinding at WSOP Paradise 2023 in December. She cashed at both the tourneys she played. The leggy lass also participated in the WSOP 2023 Main Event. Here, Botez claimed the 1039th position for a payday of $17,500. 

The poker sensation also registered a victory at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) 2023. The stunner took home a pay cheque of  $10,815 for her win in the Hyper Turbo Freezeout event. As far as her Hendon Mob stats are concerned, Botez has close to $60,000 in total live tournament earnings with her biggest cash coming from the WSOP Main Event finish. 

When it came to becoming the GGPoker ambassador, we say, the female poker player has taken a giant step ahead in her poker journey. We can’t wait to see how Botez crushes the felts to make it big.
