The Adda52 Colossus series has come to an end with Nishant Sharma crowned as the Main Event champion! The live poker series, which ran from 5th to 7th August, took place at the Adda52 LIVE poker room onboard the Deltin Royale. This was the live series’ third edition following a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Needless to say, this edition was a resounding success, and Sharma, who shipped the prestigious Main Event title, took home a gold studded trophy and ₹33,15,000 in prize money.
The tournament recorded a total of 129 entries, out of which 48 were re-entries. The final prize pool was worth an impressive ₹1,17,39,000, and the top 17th places were paid. The min-cash was ₹2,26,000. India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 15K Mystery Bounty winner Vivek Singh bubbled the Main Event after he busted in the 18th position. Other notable players who finished in the money are Ramesh Thotapalli (16th, ₹2,26,000), Sahil Agarwal (14th, ₹2,58,300), Chirag Sodha (11th, ₹2,94,000), and Tanmay Benara (10th, ₹2,94,000) among others.
The final table (FT) of the Adda52 Colossus Main Event was set after Ranjeet Negi bubbled the FT in the 9th position for ₹3,31,100 on Day 3. The next to exit was Loveleen Singh in 8th position for ₹3,75,000 after he was knocked out by Spartan Poker Pro Nikita Luther. Ratul Steves soon followed in the 7th position after his pocket tens could not beat Nishant Sharma’s top pair. Steves walked away with ₹4,28,000 in prize money.
The FT bust-outs continued after Ankit Jajodia big goodbye in 6th place for ₹4,93,000 he was Sharma’s second victim on the FT. Mukul Agarwal finished in 5th place after Amit Tejura ended his tournament life. He walked away with ₹5,81,000. Shortly after busting Agarwal, Tejura succumbed to Sharma and was eliminated in 4th place for ₹7,63,000. With only three players left on the FT, Nishant Sharma was leading with a massive chip stack. Luther and Faiz Alam had the second and third chips stack, respectively. Alam eventually busted in the 3rd position for ₹12,44,000.

With Nikita Luther and Nishant Sharma in heads-up, the fight for the title raged on. In the final hand, Luther with 5 ❤ 4 ❤ shoved her 1.5 big blind stack in the pot and was called by Sharma, who was holding K ♣ 7 ♣. The community card K ♦ 9 ♦ 3 ❤ 8 ♣ 4 ♦ fell on the board and gave Sharma his winning hand after he hit a King pair. Luther finished in the runner-up position for ₹21,00,000.
