The Adda52 Colossus 200K High Roller event has finally boiled down to the last two players. Siddhanth Kripalani and Aditya GS overcame a field of 69 entries to reach the final table heads up after Santosh Kumar was eliminated in 3rd place by Aditya GS. Kripalani, as usual, holds the chip lead in the final table with 4,520,000 chips while Aditya GS has the shorter stack of 2,380,000 chips.

Preflop, Santosh Kumar open shoves from the button for 340,000 with pocket eights. Kripalani folds, and Kumar’s shove is called by Aditya GS from the big blind with pocket queens. The board opens to reveal cards 5 ♠ K ♦ T ♦ 9 ♦ 6 ♠ and Aditya’s Ladies help him take the pot. Kumar’s tournament life comes to an end as he finishes in the 3rd position for ₹15,85,000.

Siddhanth Kripalani is on a role as he delivers his third FT knockout. Kripalani opens from the cutoff position with Queen-Ten, and Vaibhav Sharma shoves his entire stack holding King-Ten. Kripalani confidently calls, and showdown begins. The board is no help to Sharma, but Kripalani scores a Queen pair and adds another pot to his growing chip stack. Sharma exits in 4th place for ₹11,32,000.

After knocking out Karan Malhotra, Rohan Bhardwaj soon followed. IPC Megastacks May 2022 ME winner Siddhanth Kripalani bet preflop with Ace-Jack. Bhardwaj, with a premium hand of pocket kings, shoves all his chips into the pot. Kripalani calls his all-in, and the community cards fan out. Bhardwaj leads on the flop as cards 2x 2x 3x fall on the board. However, the poker gods had other plans, as an ace on the turn gave Kripalani the upper hand. With a 7x on the river making no difference, Kripalani scoops up the pot and busts Bhardwaj in 5th place for ₹8,73,000.

Aditya GS bet 60,000 preflop from the cutoff. Roshan Bhardwaj, with pocket fives for hole cards, shoves from the button for 520,000. Karan Malhotra goes all-in from the small blind with Ace-Queen offsuit. This prompts Aditya to fold, and showdown begins. The board opens to K ♠ 8 ❤ 2 ❤ 8 ♣ 9 ♦ and with two pairs (88,55), Bhardwaj wins the pot as Malhotra’s Ace-Queen held no water. Malhotra exited the final table in 6th place for ₹6,80,000.

Spartan Poker pro Nikita Luther was the first casualty on the final table as she busted at the eighth spot for ₹5,17,500. The WSOP bracelet winner’s Kx Jx couldn’t hold water against Siddhanth Kripalani‘s pocket sevens. She began the FT with the fourth highest stack, but unfortunately succumbed early at the hands of her poker buddy.
Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni followed in seventh place taking home ₹5,82,000 for his run. Chip leader Kripalani raised to 125K and was called by Patni called. On seeing the flop of T ♠ 2 ♠ 8 ❤ , Kripalani shoved all-in with his pocket kings, and Patni called by going all-in with K ♣ T ♦ . The turn and river showed 4 ❤ and 7 ♠, sending off Patni at the seventh place.

The final table of the 200K High Roller is set after Akshay Kapoor bubbled the FT. Kapoor busted at the ninth place for ₹4,52,500. The final table of eight is one of the sickest, with top pros in the grind. These include Adda552 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni, Spartan Poker pro Nikita Luther, IPC Megastacks May 2022 Main Event winner Siddhanth Kripalani, and popular grinder Vaibhav Sharma, among others. Kripalani, who started Day 2 as the chip leader, is still leading the pack with a stack of 19,05,000 at his disposal.

The 50K Warm Up Bounty second runner-up Rajesh Jagannadhamis the unfortunate bubble boy at the Adda52 Colossus 2022 200K High Roller. Jagannadhamis, who finished third for ₹3,60,000 at yesterday’s 50K Warm Up Bounty event, has busted at the tenth spot. According to the payouts, the remaining nine have secured themselves a min-cash of ₹4,52,500.

Faiz Alam went all-in from the button for 56,000 with eight-seven suited. Santosh Kumar calls from the big blind with nine-three suited. Kumar snap-called and the cards went face up. The board had 2 ♣ 5 ♠ K ♦ 6 ♣ 7 ♠ which gave the higher pair (JJ) and he took the post while eliminating Lakhotia in the process.

Late registrations for the event are open till the end of level 16 on Day 2. The player field continues to grow as many prominent pros re-enter for another shot at the title. Defending High Roller champion Sriharsha Doddapaneni is among the day’s re-entries after he was eliminated close to the end of Day 1. Ranjeet Negi is also among the new entries coming on Day 2 and the total field has reached 64 entries as per the tournament clock.
The opening day of the Adda52 Colossus 200K High Roller witnessed a total of 61 entries participating in the event, out of which 47 were unique. A total of 25 players survived and returned to their seats for Day 2 at the Deltin Royale in Goa. The cards are up in the air, and the action for Day 2 has now commenced.
Day 1 of the 200K High Roller at Adda52 Colossus 2022 has finally come to an end. The event has registered 61 entries so far, and the number is expected to increase with late registrations continuing till the end of Level 16 on Day 2. Out of the 61 entries, 25 players have managed to survive the day. India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 Main Event winner Siddhanth Kripalani is keeping his tradition of leading the chip counts alive. Kripalani, who was the chip leader after Day 1 at the IPC Megastacks 25K Warm-up event and the Main Event during May 2022, has bagged and tagged the highest stack of 641k chips, followed by Santosh Kumar (553k chips), Karan Malhotra (331k chips), WSOP bracelet winner Kartik Ved (327k chips) and Sahil Agarwal (316k chips) at the top five spots.

The two-time IPC champ has the last laugh with his set of deuces. The other two players in the hand chop the side pot.

In a three-way action, player Bhavit bets 4,000 preflop from the button. Guarav Bhandari went all-in for 100,000 with pocket kings, and Kartik Ved calls from the big blind with pocket rockets. The action was back on Bhavit, and he folds to get out of the way. The board opened to Q ♦ Q ♣ 5 ♠ 9 ♣ 3 ♠, and Ved flopped a higher two pairs (AA,QQ) and took home the pot. With this win, he knocked out Bhandari from the tournament.

While Shahane flopped a flush draw, the turn and river did not complete it and gave the victory to Patni’s pocket jacks. Shahane exited the tournament with this loss.

Santosh Kumar bets 3,300 preflop from the hi-jack position holding cards 7 ♣ 6 ♦ . Meherzad Munsaf with A ♣ 3 ❤ shoves 5,700 into the pot. Kumar snap calls, and the board opens to 4 ❤ 9 ♦ 6 ♣ 5 ♦ K ♦ . At showdown, Kumar flopped a pair (6,6) and took home the post. Munsaf busted in the process.

The end was nigh for poker pro Arjanveer Singh Chadha as he open-shoves from UTG open-shoves for 11,300 with hole cards A ❤ 4 ❤ . His opponent, Somashekar, calls from the small blind position with King-ten suited. The board opened to J ♣ 5 ♣ 2 ♦ K ❤ Q ♦ and delivered a top pair to Somashekar. This helped him win the pot and eliminate Chadha in the process.

In a three-way action, Vaibhav Sharma from the middle position opens with 2,600. IPC Megastacks 2022 ME winner Siddhanth Kripalani calls from the small blind, and Prakash Bulchandani calls from the big blind. The flop opens to 5 ♣ 3 ❤ 2 ♠. Kripalani and Bulchadani check while Sharma bets 5,000. Kripalani calls and Bulchadani folds. The turn opens to 5 ❤ , and Kripalani bets another 2,000, which Sahrama calls. Both check the river A ♦ , and Kripalani turns up pocket eights, which is beaten by Sharma’s pocket tens.

Santosh Kumar from UTG opens to 2,400 pre-flop with hooks and is called by a player from the hi-jack position. Meherzad Munsaf moves all-in for 17,200 from the button holding pocket aces, and Kumar shoves his stack into the pot. The player from the hi-jack folds. The board fans out to reveal T ♠ 4 ♣ Q ♣ 4 ♦ K ♠ giving Meherzad a much-needed double up. Meherzad had finished as a runner-up in this event back in 2018.

Santosh Kumar opens to 5,000 from UTG, and defending champion Sriharsha Doddapaneni calls from the small blind. The flop opens to 9 ❤ 4 ❤ 2 ♣. Doddapaneni checks and Kumar bets 20,000 prompting Doddapaneni to call. The turn brings K ❤ and Doddapaneni checks again. Kumar, who is not ready to back down, bets 30,000 which is called by Doddapaneni again. The river flips open 2 ♦ and both check on the river. The players’ cards go face up and unfortunately for Doddapaneni, his pocket tens don’t hold up against Kumar’s pocket jacks.

The action checked on the turn of 4 ♠, and J ❤ showed up on the river. Kripalani checked while Abraham bet 18,000. To this Kripalani shoved all-in, and Abraham called. At the showdown, Kripalani showed A ♦ J ♣, and Abraham flipped A ♣ J ♦ . The pot was chopped between the two players.
2018 Colossus High Roller champion Sriharsha Doddapaneni is making some noise to prove that he is here to defend his title.
Doddapaneni, opened to 1,200 chips and was raised to a massive 11K chips by the 50k Warm Up Bounty final-table finisher Rajesh Jagannadham from the big blind. Doddapaneni called to see the flop of 3 ♠ 8 ♣ 7 ❤ . Jagannadham bet 11K, and was flat-called by Doddapaneni. The turn showed 2 ♦ . This time Doddapaneni bet 22K and Jagannadham check called. The river flipped T ❤ , seeing this Jagannadham checked, and the defending champion pushed his 56K chips all-in. Jagannadham tanked for a while before finally folding.
Doddapaneni scooped a considerable pot in the process.
The 200K High Roller has kick-started with just a few players in the field so far. Those who have marked thier presence include Adda52 Game Ambassador Kunal Patni, Roshan Bhardwaj and 2018 Colossus 200K High Roller runner-up Meherzad Munsaf.
Adda52 kick-started its most anticipated poker series, Colossus 2022, yesterday. The third edition of the series which returned after a hiatus of two years is being held at the Adda52 LIVE poker room aboard the luxurious Deltin Royale casino in Goa. The series being a High Roller series has some of the most popular high stakes pros all set in Goa looking forward to grinding at the series.
The first event, the 50K Warm Up Bounty event, ended earlier today and crowned Shravan Chhabria the first winner of the series. The event crushed its previous records as it saw participation from 98 entries playing this event.
The next event on the Adda52 Colossus 2022 schedule, the 200K High Roller, will kick-start today. The most anticipated event will span across two days. Day 1 will start at 2 PM today, 4th August 2022, followed by Day 2 tomorrow, 5th August 2022, at 1 PM. The ₹2,00,000 buy-in event will follow a big blind ante format, beginning at Level 1, featuring blinds 100/200 as each player sits with a starting stack of 100K chips. Each level will last for 40 minutes, and the players will get two 15-minute breaks on Day 1 at the end of every three levels each. There will be a 20-minute dinner break after Level 9. Post dinner, the players will resume and play four more levels before Day 1 ends. The late-registration period ends until the start of level 16 on Day 2. This means players can enter on Day 2 also.
Looking at the participation at the Warm Up Bounty event and the number of players who have flown to Goa later including Zarvan Tumboli among others, we can expect the High Roller event to witness some record-breaking participation and crazy action too. In the past, top pro Sriharsha Doddapaneni has shipped the High Roller titles at Colossus for hefty amounts. Only time will tell who will clinch the prestigious title this year.
