Did Jeremy Ausmus Win FOUR WSOP Bracelets In One Year?

World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets are not easily attainable. Poker players train for years before they get close to winning one. Some may win only one bracelet, then there are poker players who have gone on to win multiple times throughout the span of their career like Phil Hellmuth with a record-breaking 16 WSOP bracelets.

Sometimes years go by before players can win their second, third, or fourth bracelet, then we have Jeremy Ausmus who won his first WSOP bracelet last year and can’t seem to stop winning them ever since! That’s right, Ausmus in just a span of one year has managed to win four WSOP bracelets. If there’s anything that can get the poker community talking is a feat like this one.

How Did Jeremy Ausmus Do It?

In 2013, Ausmus won his first WSOP bracelet at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) Event #3: €1,500 + 150 Pot Limit Omaha for € 70,324. His second bracelet came after a seven-year dry spell in October at WSOP 2021. That’s where he started the series on a good note and shipped Event #3: $1,000 Covid-19 Relief Charity Event for $48,687.  He took home another bracelet that same year when he shipped Event #84: $50,000 PLO High Roller for $1,188,918.

Next was in WSOP 2022 when he overcame 213 entries and clinched his fourth bracelet in Event #23: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold’em and took home $142,147 in prize money. In between his fourth and fifth bracelet, Ausmus also managed to win a WSOP Circuit Ring in August 2021. He had shipped Event #10: $525 No Limit Hold’em – Main Event 8 Max Online for $53,864.

Last night, Ausmus shipped Event #7: $365 NLH for $51,807 in the WSOP 2022 Online under the username ‘Chipchecka.’ He defeated high stakes player Nick Schulman aka ‘CashUsKlay’ to claim his fifth WSOP bracelet. With this, Ausmus now has $12.6 million in earnings as per Hendon Mob. This was also Ausmus’ fourth bracelet in just under a year.

His achievement left the poker world talking with poker commentator Norman Chad taking to his Twitter handle to post about it. In the post, Chad pointed out Ausmus’ success and also in parenthesis states that it wasn’t possible.

At this rate, Jeremy Ausmus could soon give Phil Hellmuth a run for his money. Yes, Hellmuth is a whole 11 bracelets away but with four bracelet wins in a year, it’s likely that Ausmus could soon step a little closer to that goal. All we can say is great game Ausmus!
