2021 WSOP: Koray Aldemir Leads At The End Of Day 7 Of ME

Day 7 of the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event (ME) concluded today after getting its top nine players. Event #67: $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event World Championship started early today with 36 survivors battling out. Eventually, the field narrowed down to the top nine players, who will now lock horns on Day 8 tomorrow.

The highly anticipated ME, which has been in progress for the last seven days now, witnessed a total of 6,650 entries battling it out for the ultimate ME title. Several Indian players were also seen grinding hard at this event. However, India’s dream of getting its first-ever WSOP ME title was crushed after former WSOP bracelet winner Abhinav Iyer exited the event at the 60th spot on Day 6 for $1,13,800.

The final table (FT) of the ME is now set with the top nine players seated with their respective stacks. The FT is going to be an interesting one since it has just one former WSOP bracelet winner, which means the player who wins the ME will grab his maiden WSOP gold bracelet, which is also the most anticipated event in the series.
