2.6 Cr+ GTD Spartan Super Series begins tomorrow

The Spartan Super Series (SSS), one of the biggest series in Indian online poker scene is just around the corner. The Spartan Poker has scheduled their coveted Super Series to commence from tomorrow, the 21^th of November, and will run for a span of 5 days. There are many exciting events with huge guarantees lined up in this period. Each day of the series will witness one high-stakes event with guaranteed prize monies starting from 10 Lakhs and culminating in the 75 Lakhs Main Event on the final day of the series, Nov. 25^th.

The previous SSS was held last month, with Spartan’s signature tournament, ‘The Millionaire’, being the Main Event of the series. Abhishek Jaiswal, aka ‘allout1’, won this event of INR 1 Crore GTD and cashed out a whopping INR 25,00,000 as champion money. The INR 11K Main Event of this edition of the Super Series boasts INR 75 Lakhs as total guaranteed prize money, making this the largest event of the series.

There is added incentive as well for players who are serious about being consistent and not just winning single tournaments. There will also be a Leaderboard hosted for the series. The top 5 players on the leaderboard will proportionately split a total of INR 5 Lakhs prize money, with the first grabbing the lion’s share of INR 250K. A leaderboard ranking shows true determination of a poker player since it ranks players according to their performance during the whole series.

Last month’s SSS Leaderboard topper was Rajesh Kumar Shukla, aka ‘Narammasala’, who won INR 4 Lakhs prize money. Shukla had also commended The Spartan Poker, saying “The Spartan Poker has always been a great platform to play massive GTD events like SS and IOPC.”

Major events of the SSS include –

1. PLO Highroller – 15 Lakhs GTD
2. Super Highroller – 40 Lakhs GTD
3. Highroller – 40 Lakhs GTD
4. Warm up – 10 Lakhs GTD
5. Main Event – 75 Lakhs GTD
