Zarvan Tumboli Signs Up As PokerBaazi Team Pro

Popular Indian poker player Zarvan Tumboli and PokerBaazi,  one of India’s most popular poker app, have started the new year with a bang. The ace poker player has signed up with PokerBaazi and is now part of the PokerBaazi Team Pro. Over the years, there have been some elite poker players who PokerBaazi has signed up, including Pratibha Arya in 2021 and Lakshpal Singh in 2024. In 2022, Muskan Sethi and Abhishek Goindi joined PokerBaazi Team Pro. 

In 2021, the concept was known as Baazi Gaming Pro. Tumboli made the announcement via his social handle through an Instagram story. Being a PokerBaazi Team Pro is one of the most prestigious achievements in the Indian poker community today.

This means Zarvan Tumboli could participate in more poker tournaments and the events hosted by PokerBaazi or in which the company plays a role. This is, of course, good news for poker fans and Zarvan fans as well. Tumboli is one of the most famous Indian poker players, and he has several achievements. In February 2024, he shipped the PokerDream 8 Malaysia Main Event, taking home RM 888,000 (~$187,729, ~₹1.55 Crore) out of a final prize pool of RM 5,073,896.

At the same tournament series, he shipped the NLH event for a payday of RM 37,200 (~$7,884, ~₹6.54 Lakh) out of a total prize pool of RM 144,100. Zarvan has been playing poker for a long time and saw his first cash at the India Poker Championship (IPC), Panjim, Goa, in 2015, when he shipped the NLH – 10K Freezeout event, taking home ₹4,70,000. Zarvan’s popularity has grown from strength to strength, and he has also been featured on Gutshot Magazine’s cover in June 2024.
