WSOP 2024, the 55th annual in the series, was a record-breaking tournament. Close on its heels comes the announcement of WSOP Paradise, the annual winter event. With the biggest name in poker setting up another tournament series, the best poker players in the world will make a beeline to the buy-ins, promising some fantastic entertainment for poker fans. This time, even the most hardened poker players and fans will take a deep breath when they know the guarantee that WSOP Paradise offers.

WSOP is the most prominent and lucrative tournament series for poker players. There’s the prize money, the bracelet, and the sheer experience of playing in a widely covered, global event. It is also one of the oldest poker events, with its roots in the ’70s. By 2020, WSOP was hosting more than 100 live events annually. Not to mention, several WSOP winners end up signing a boat-load of endorsement deals, making it all more worthwhile for them

WSOP is also popular for making celebrities out of common men and women, who win their Main Events and tournaments. This year, Jonathan Tamayo won the $10 million prize money.
