WSOP Paradise 2023 ME Day 2: Indian Players Updates

Well-known Indian poker pro Kartik Ved has qualified for Day 2 of the coveted World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2023 Paradise. The live and online pro was grinding in Day 1A and has managed to bag and tag a stack of 516,000. Another Indian poker pro Sriharsha Doddapaneni was also grinding in this Main Event starting day flight but sadly got busted.

Talking about other Indian pros participating in flight Day 1B, we have Nikita Luther, Doddapaneni, Santhosh Suvarna, Indian-origin player Jeevan Lobo. Unfortunately, all four of them have been busted at the time of writing this article. The $5,000 buy-in tournament has a prize pool worth $15,000,000.

WSOP Paradise 2023 Main Event Day 1B

Some notable players in the field belong to Kristen Foxen, Isaac Haxton, Game of Gold fame David Williams, former WSOP Main Event winner, Damian Salas, Adrian Mateos, Stephen Song, Alexandra Botez, Daniel Negreanu, Josh Arieh, former WSOP Main Event bracelet winner, Jamie Gold among others. 

The event currently has 98 players left from the registered field of 657. The average chip stack is worth 335,204 and Ved does sit comfortably above this mark. 

Coming to the WSOP Paradise 2023, this series will run from 3rd to 14th December at Atlantis, Paradise Island, One Casino Drive, The Bahamas. 

Coming to the Indian pros making headlines, we had Ved, grabbing the 7th spot for $80,000. Another popular pro, Suvarna finished at the 28th position in the High Rollers Championship. He took a pay cheque of $77,000 for his impressive run at the marquee tournament.

When it comes to WSOP Paradise 2023, many are eyeing to up their bracelet tally while those who don’t yet have any, can secure their maiden bracelet in this series.
