The total entries settled at 10,112, which led to the prize pool resting at $94,041,600. The first place finisher is staring at a prize money of $10 Million and the runner-up will grab a pay cheque of $6 Million. The top 1,517 will be paid with the min-cash being $15,000.

Coming to Day 2D, Alex Livingston, a familiar face at the WSOP, sits atop the leaderboard with a chip stack of 750,500. This Canadian pro isn’t new to deep runs in the Main Event. He secured a third-place finish in 2019, taking home a cool $4 Million, and cashed twice before that. Livingston’s already a bracelet winner, capturing gold in the 2022 $1,500 Seven Card Stud event. With his experience and a healthy stack, Livingston is definitely a contender to watch out for.

Donovan Dean, a poker regular in the southern and midwestern US, finished Day 2 with a respectable 639,500 chips. While he fell short of his personal goal of exceeding 700,000, Dean remains optimistic and hungry for his first WSOP bracelet. No stranger to success, he boasts two WSOPC rings and over $1.3 Million in lifetime earnings. Day 3 presents a golden opportunity for Dean to inch closer to poker glory.

Poker powerhouse Adam Friedman sits comfortably with 581,000 chips. This five-time WSOP bracelet winner boasts an impressive track record that few can match. Friedman emphasises patience and experience as key moving forward. He’s no stranger to deep runs in the Main Event, cashing five times previously, including a 43rd place finish in his first Main Event appearance back in 2005. With two decades of experience and a sizable stack, Friedman is determined to leverage his expertise and potentially “break even for the summer” as he puts it.

With these heavyweights and many more talented players still in the running, Day 3 promises to be an intense battle for poker supremacy. The WSOP Main Event continues to unfold, and only time will tell who will walk away with the coveted champion’s title.
