WSOP 2023: PLO High Roller Breaks Records


The ongoing World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2023 is setting some serious records and breaking some. A similar thing happened at Event #57: $25,000 PLO High Roller, by recording the biggest Omaha prize pool ever. 

Event #57: $25,000 PLO High Roller generated a prize pool of $10,551,500. A total of 449 entries helped record the massive prize pool. The event recently concluded its Day 2 with impressive numbers on board. After 10 levels of play into Day 2, 31 players out of the 241 survivors have made their way to Day 3. The event paid out the top 68 places, as the min-cash here stood at $40,179. 

Leading the top 31 is poker pro Chance Kornuth, who has bagged a total stack of 7,245,000 chips. Among other top stacks are Dylan Weisman, with the second-highest stack of 4,355,000 chips. WSOP bracelet winner Isaac Haxton takes the third spot with 4,320,000 chips, while Day 1 chip leader Firas Kashat sits at the fourth place with a stack of 4,185,000 chips.

  1. Chance Kornuth 7,245,000 (145 BB)
  2. Dylan Weisman 4,355,000 (87 BB)
  3. Isaac Haxton 4,320,000 (86 BB)
  4. Firas Kashat – 4,185,000 (84 BB)
  5. Ka Kwan Lau 3,890,000 (78 BB)
  6. Sergio Martinez Gonzalez – 3,870,000 (77 BB)
  7. Mads Amot 3,465,000 (69 BB)
  8. Bradley Anderson 3,225,000 (65 BB)
  9. Andriy Lyubovetskiy – 2,305,000 (46 BB)
  10. Jeremy Ausmus – 2,290,000 (46 BB)

The event also had top names like Stephen Chidwick, Shaun Deeb, Nacho Barbero, Erik Seidel, and Nick Schulman grinding on Day 2. However, they couldn’t make it to Day 3. USA’s Bradley Kill bubbled Day 3 after eliminating at the 32nd place for $58,177.
