WSOP 2023 Main Event: Sport Stars In The House

One of the most exciting things when it comes to the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is seeing a plethora of celebrities from various fields fly down to test their skills at the poker tables. From athletes and musicians, we see a lot of professionals participate in WSOP 2023.

Quite a few pros in various fields have often been seen around the tables as we look at a few celebrities from the sports industry who flew to Las Vegas and made an appearance at WSOP 2023.

Sergio Aguero

The Horseshoe and Paris in Las Vegas was shocked by an entrant who arrived to play the WSOP 2023 Main Event. Former Argentina forward and Manchester City star Sergio Aguero featured in the biggest poker event. He not only managed to get past a vast entry field but also made Day 3. Sadly, the football star busted on the same day.

Football and poker have often crossed ties as the likes of Neymar, Ronaldo, and Gerard Pique have been spotted on poker tables in various tournaments. While Neymar and Pique have fared well at the table, the one who made a splash with a win was Max Kruse. The former Vfl Wolfsburg and Germany striker won a WSOP bracelet at the WSOP 2022 Europe, ending his decade-long pursuit.
